A few years ago I had a subscription to an Amish publication. These are black and white, pencil drawn, no ads magazines (and not glossy!)which are written FOR and BY the Amish. Fiction stories on character, advice columns on how to live, etc. They are printed in Canada.

Young Companion (17 issues) - publication for Amish teenagers
Family Life (15 issues) - publication for Amish families
Blackboard Bulletin (10 issues) - publication for Amish teachers

I have read and re-read and now it is time to pass these on. Are you interested in the Amish? Do you have Amish friends you could pass these on to? I am interested in bartering, but I am not sure what for. If you are interested in some or all of these magazines, post or email me and let me know what kinds of things you have to barter and I'll let you know if we can make a deal!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I am SO interested in the Amish lifestyle. But no, I won't barter (don't have anything worth while imo, duh") But good luck to the ones that do lol ;)

Hi Amy -

I would be very interested in the Family Life issues. I have good friends who are Amish. I don't know what you are interested in for bartering, but I knit if you would be interested in scarves or something like that. Also do a lot of reading and have a lot of cookbooks if that would interest you?

Thanks!

Hi Amy -

My computer at home isn't working, and I'll be leaving work here in a little while. I will pick up your e-mail on Monday unless I get my home computer fixed over the weekend. Whatever you decide to do with the barter is fine with me.

Have a good weekend!

Luanne

Sorry I didn't get online last night (wasn't feeling well) but the magazines are all spoken for now. If something changes, I will re-post! Thanks ladies...
