Just wanted to say a quick hello to everyone and introduce myself. My name is Sam. I live with my husband and 2 children in a small town in Illinois. We are artist with big plans of starting self sustaining artist co op in the future. Spring is her and is a busy time for us, as I am sure it is for all of you. Our seeds will be planted for our garden soon. I am so excited to see their faces Also we started a community drum circle a few years back, and our first circle is next month. I am just amazed at the power of drumming and how if brings people of all ages together. Excitement is in bloom :) Hope your day is blissful.

How exciting. What kind of art do you do? I would love to see some. I am all over the place with my art. I do visual art; photography, drawing, decoupage, mask making and some painting. I also do performance art; dancing and fire spinning. Can't forget music making, I would not consider myself a musician, but I can make some pretty noise :)

Thanks so much. We started making the lanterns and putting them throughout our house and lighting them at night instead of using electricity. It gives the house such calm serene atmosphere, and keeps our electricity bills down. :)

I hope you have an opportunity to try a drum circle, especially outside. One feels quite in tuned with nature. :)

The irish bohdran, how exciting. I have never played one, but we have had a few people bring them to the drum circle. They seem like they are very fun to play.... We are 45 mins south of Chicago. If your ever in our neck of the woods stop by a drum circle :)
