Hello everyone. I am a stay-at-home mum from Southwest Michigan. I have four daughters: age 9, 8, 6 and 4 and a wonderful husband of 20 years.

We live at the edge of town--not city, not farm. This will be our third year attempting organic gardening and we are about to embark upon the " great chicken experiment"--adding three chickens to our lives.

Usually, we have no idea what we are doing so I'm delighted to join a group of women who do!

Welcome Tracy! I'm from Battle Creek! Good luck on your chicken adventure. I'm still trying to convince hubby on chickens. Hey...just so you know, there will be a Michigan Farmgirls chapter meeting in April (the 10th to be exact) in Lansing. Maybe you can join us! You're going to love the group on MJF!

Welcome, from South Dakota. Do tell about the first two attempts at organic gardening. Sounds like there's a good story behind that statement!

Hey there Tracy,
we used to live very close to you, we were in city of GR, but on property annexed from Walker (Oakleigh woods)! We still aren't too far, east of South Haven by a bit. There is a great knowledge base here, glad you're along for the journey.
peace,
