This is MJ's "Wear a Bandana Day.....did anyone remember? I did!...sort of...after I had already gone out in public and came back home. lol Soooo I wore it around the house the rest of the day. It got very chilly and rainy today, so it felt nice and warm and cozy on my neck.Happy Bandana Day gals!

I love my collection of bandanas. I use them for so many things.... hair band, neck cooler, bandage when I cut myself out in the barnyard, dust mask when mowing, gathering eggs, etc....
The only down side to them is that around this area it's smart to NOT wear blue or red ones (in public) because of gang activity. My daughter went to the mall and had a red one on and the mall police asked her to take it off or to leave. At first I was a bit ticked off that he'd think my daughter was a gang member but then I realized that he didn't think that at all. He knew she was "innocent" and was actually trying to protect her from real gang members that would see the bandana and possibly confront her.
One of the best compliments from one of my daughters: "Moma, you smell good...like dirt." |
