We got so many nice things from Richard's Aunts estate years ago. These were just a few of the Easter decorations. They seem to have so much more character then the new ones.

I agree, your decorations are very cute. It's hard to find things like that anymore. You should put them out. I also love the old Halloween and Christmas decorations, too. They have more "spunk". I think the children's books from the 40's and 50's are the most charming, too. Like your blog, Nancy!

Thank you Nicole. Yes The older things seem to be made with more care for all the Holidays. They also were not mass produced like they are today which gives them more value.

Love them, Nancy...and now I will go and hang my head in shame because the only thing I managed to get out this year was my forsythia wreath for the front door. Oh, and a lavender candle. Next year, next year, when there will be less child-proofing and more decorations!!!!
