Hi, My name is Mary and I am from Mexico, Missouri. I have been getting Mary Jane's magazine for over a year and I just love it as soon as I get it I read it page by page. I live in the City but do have a garden spot. I like to sew, embroidery, learning to quilt. would love to learn how to crochet. I enjoy being with my family my grandchildren and great grandson. Would love to here from anyone that lives in Missouri or really anywhere.

I'm in Lee's Summit (south of KC metro). I would also love to learn how to crochet... I've been trying to "self-teach"....um, yeah, it's not working :) Need to go to local craft store & sign up for classes! I'm new here also....funny 2 MO gals in a row!

Hi Pinkwitchy, I have tryed to self teach. And My Mother tryed to teach me when I was growing up but could never get the hang of it. I have a friend that said she could teach me so need to take her up on that. You are so right about 2 Mo gals joining in a row. Have a good evening.

Hi! Mary, I was born in Osceola and raised near Collins, Missouri but now live in Kansas.I still have lots of family in Missouri. I drove through Mexico, Missouri once. I belong to a farmgirl group called Scattered Prairie Gals and we are mostly from Missouri and Kansas. There are a few from beyond. We mostly communicate through the blogs but we hope to get together once or twice a year. We have a henhouse called "Scattered Prairie Gals."

Howdy from south Texas. I learned to crochet from a friend three summers ago. You can try the Learn to crochet kit. It is easy to follow.

I love gardening, needlework, reading, and blogging.

Have a wonderful day.
