Well, I tried to get a lot of starts going when I was home mid March but the house was a bit too cold and since I was gone all April they didn't really take. Most look stressed though I planted them anyways. Most of the brassicas are still there though small, but tomatoes and cukes are either gone or yellow. So I bought a few starts today. Some celery since none of my seed took and carrots since I haven't seen a single carrot from the seed I planted.

Also bought more perennials for the roof. Finally getting it up and going and the columbine I planted last year looks great!

Whew, there are days I think I have a yellow thumb instead of a green one. But the avocado seed I planted has taken and is 6 inches long.

I tried starts this year. But our weather was so off that i ended up losing most of them and starting things from seed. I have literally been praying for my garden this last week because the weather has been so bi-polar. One minute it is hailing and the next flooding.. then on to wind and sunshine and back again. Today I am afraid everything is going to drown. Hopefully the Lord will make up the difference with the poor garden and bless us for the effort that has been put in!!

Do what you love, love what you do.
