Hey Farmgirls, Wanted to share this pic of columbines now in bloom just off the edge of my deck. Columbines are my favorite flower and the wild ones are the Colorado State Flower. These were developed and named "Remembrance" in honor of the lost lives at the Columbine High School incident several years ago.
THANKS FOR LOOKING!! CJ

CJ - I'd LOVE to have some seeds from you flowers as well! I love columbine flowers and have just a couple of varieties. Some of mine are already going to seed. Hugs, Ruth

These are beautiful! I love columbine...simple beauty. I have some in bloom that are a rich plum color. Each year they pop up in the most unsuspecting places...like the driveway! I scorn the family not to drive over them or weed whack them down. My goal is to transplant them into the garden once they've gone to seed.

Lyn, We have a crack in our driveway and every year a columbine comes up there and is beautiful! There is no way I can move it - so I just enjoy it where it is. It is at the very edge of the driveway so we don't run over it! Aren't they pretty! I have a huge yellow one this year - don't know where it came from! Hugs, Ruth

Ruth, I can plan to send you some seeds. It'll be a while before mine go to seed because they just bloomed. But, you'll need to email me your mailing address. Thanks! CJ
