I know there is something good that the ants do to get the peony buds to open, but I'd love to have a bouquet in the house but sure don't want those ants all over the place. If I remember, there's something you can put in the water to eliminate them, but don't remember what it was, can anybody help????? Time for a fresh bouquet on the dining room table!!

Thanks so much Karrieann!! So, I will cut some in the a.m. and let them sit in the garage for part of the day, then have a lovely bouquet later in the day!! Nectar in the buds.....well no wonder the hummers are acting like they're getting a little drink from them!! Never think to look things up, so easy to ask here!! Sorry for the trouble!!
