Some of you may be familiar with the MJ's Heirloom Mavens henhouse - we got started as a result of a conversation about plants that were going extinct, realized we all felt passionately about it, and went from there.
The original thread and group have sort of fizzled out and moved on respectively but from conversations here I know there are a lot of farmgirls with concerns about issues like bio-engineering, organic gardening, feeding their families real food, and preserving traditional ways of gardening and producing food.
So.....with that in mind I would like to invite any farmgirl sisters who are interested in an ongoing conversation - drop-in, or what-have-you - to join in the MJ's Heirloom Mavens henhouse, and to invite those of you who were already members to come back and chat. I am always astonished by the amount of knowledge and energy all of us together possess and am excited to see where we can go with it!!
