Sienna is doing very well. Her udders are almost the same size.
It has been 1 week since I started her treatment and there is still some hardness in the udder and the liquid that comes out now is clear and no clots. I will continue to wash her udder with rosemary/lavendary soap, and then rub in the udder salve I made, twice daily until all of the hardness is gone.
Thanks for the replies, I am so relieved that she is doing much better.
When you free your mind your heart can fly. Farmgirl # 714,
Do you know why this happened? Or how? I have never had this happen to mine although one of them has huge udders and her first few times she got mastitis. I wish I knew all the good herbal remedies to use in these cases.
I'm glad she is doing better. And what a good goat keeper you are.
