Hello.... this is Jennifer here. I just love everything in Mary Janes magazines. I am a true farmgirl at heart too. I grew up on a dairy farm and now have my very own itty bitty farm. Sheep are my bliss.... I love every aspect of them. I have 3 gals "ewes" Miss Dottie, Cappuccino and my little Lucy. I also have 2 pygmy goats. I shear them myself with the great old fashioned handshear, card, dye, spin, knit and needlefelt. It all brings me so much joy. I am a stay at home mom of 2 precious girls. I try to make a bit of money selling my items on www.etsy.com. Most of the time I am found knee deep in wool creating some sort of wooly friend :)
I am so excited to meet all of you.

Hey Jennifer. So glad you've joined us here. What kind of sheep do you have? I am wanting to get a few more. I have dairy goats and a few heifers and chickens and turkeys. You'll fit right in here.

Hello Kris
Thanks for the sweet welcome. I have an assortment of sheep. Miss Dottie is my Finn cross, Cappuccino is Romney x Border Liecester and Lucy is a corriedale cross. Oh I love the variety of wool that they give me. Miss Dottie is multi colored spotted black, grey and white. My pygmy goat Sara is due to kid soon and I hope to milk her..... What kind are yours? What do you make from your milk? Right now I get fresh milk from a neighboring farm and make butter, buttermilk bread and have just begun to dabble in some easy cheese. I love your quote.

Oh I just love all your welcomes..... Barbara, Nicole and Janet. I just got back from blueberry picking.... and my oh my , the tummy is a bit full of delicious berries. I tried Mary Janes recipe for the heavy cream over frozen blueberries and yum. That is so fabulous. Smoothies are on the menu for tonight. Have a great day.
