You should definitely get a dog. Dog's are wonderful, loyal companions, and are very therapeutic. I bet after you get the dog it won't take long before your husband becomes attached to him. I hope you'll go check out your local shelter for a dog. They know that your their last chance and if you pick them they will be forever grateful.
Oops, I didn't read far enough down to see you already got a dog. Congratulations, he's as cute as a button. You and your family are going to have so much fun having him around.
