Hi All -- I'm Melissa and I live in NE WI (just 10 mins from Door County) and I am looking forward to meeting new people, sharing information, and just enjoying the sisterhood of individuals who share a common basis -- a love and desire for simplicity.
I have a question for anyone who has figured out how to deal with these annoying little pests -- earwigs! They seem to be everywhere and I can't seem to figure out a natural way of getting them to stay out of my house. Any suggestions would be awesome! :-D
Blessings to all! Melissa |

Hi Melissa. Welcome from Ga. I don't have an answer to your question. I sure hope you find something to get rid of them though.

A big Wisconsin hay dare to ya Melissa! Door County is so beautiful. As for the earwigs...I don't know, I am fighting Japanese Beetles right now.

Hi Kristin and Diane! I hope I find a way to get rid of the little buggers too.
~ Diane -- I'm not allowed to get rid of Japanese Beetles...my youngest has a thing for ladybugs and because "I can't tell the difference" he won't let me eliminate them. Thankfully, they are not a big issue here this year...just those nasty earwigs. :-D |

Welcome from Michigan Melissa. I also can not help with your problem, but hope we can find out as they are a pest to my daughter-in-law this summer. Rebecca

Thanks everyone for the warm welcomes! :-D Too bad a solution to these little "creatures" hasn't creeped up yet. I'm still looking though. :-D I know they are drawn to water, but that's my problem, I really don't want them in my bathroom or kitchen towels....eeeewwww! |
