My 3 granddaughters are here for a few days. I always have to lay down with them til they go to sleep. We take turns saying prayers then we talk quietly awhile til they fall asleep. Coryn, the middle child, always falls asleep first. Then Kansas. Then Chloe, the oldest.
Kansas says "If I could hug you a thousand million times, that's how much I love you." I just about cried. Then she said she will never hate me. She promised me.
Then Chloe said, "If I could hug you for a month, that's how much I love you." Such a sweetie.
Coryn was asleep by then.
I said "I love ya'll so much it hurts. But there's someone who loves us SO much more than any of this." Chloe said "God does."
I feel SO loved tonight. I hope everyone does. Goodnight.

Aren't they wonderful. Conner (my 4 yr old grandson), told his Mom (my daughter) that Nana made the best tomato soup. He told her that Nana had a secret ingredient, Nana puts Love in hers. I had told him that one time, and never forgot it.
We love those babies.

They are sweet grands. I never could understand how people could love their grand kids more than their own kids. I know now! I am so much more protective of them. It really is true how I love them so much it hurts.

I never got to be a Mama or Grandma....but if being an Auntie and Great-Auntie is even Half of what you gals feel......yup....it's a great feeling!

Awesome. I say to my 18mo GD ,"YOu're nanny's angel girlfriend and she shakes her little head and says okay." My GS always say how much they love me too and want to be with me. You're right about how much you can love the Grands! It's all about love and memories! You go girl! You're heart must be beating out of your chest.

Judy, that's a special love too. They all love their aunt Abby to death. And uncle Jason. They always want to go see them. Jason does the neatest tricks for them and plays guitar and sings too. So they are both the good aunt and uncle.
