I had total corn failure this year which is 1/3 of my 1800 square foot garden so I have planted a cover crop of Buckwheat for the Green manure and to block out the weeds. I hope this will work to help amend the soil and keep the weeds down. Anybody else do this?

Diana,

Sorry for your loss of corn. We are planning on doing a cover crop this year. Bountiful Harvest has a lot of information on their website about cover crops and soil management for sustainability. It's a great idea! Good luck.

Diana, what happened to the corn? The ground cover sounds like a good idea. Suzanne

I think all the rain we had in the spring and the birds did something to it.
