I wasnt sure if I posted this so if so sorry for the repeat. My hubby and I went out to load square bales behind the baler and found a kitten starving. We brought it home. Its been 2 weeks now and talk about spoiled. Her name is meadow since we found her in a hay meadow. We are allergic to cats so she has a home in the barn and is running into the house every time the door opens. I'm not sure my kids arent holding it open for her :D This was a wild cat but she took to us instantly. I've never seen such an affectionate kitten. I have tolerated my girlfriends cats, always been a dog lover myself but this little one is getting to my heart.

Oh, kittens can do that to a person!! I always thought I was a dog person too, but I'd never rescued cats and kittens before! Love dogs, but our three rescue kitties have our hearts. Our Himalayan, Max was left at the Humane Society at 1 year and he's now 15! Our two kittens were dumped along with 9 others at 5 weeks old. They're now 3, all are inside only cats and the love of our lives! Bless you for saving that little sweetie! I love her name!! Lin

I'm so glad she's found a good home. She does sound like a very spoiled HOUSE cat now! Not sure about the barn cat part. Have ya'll tried taking local honey for the allergies? It works for me. A few spoons a day.

I've seen wipes or spray or shampoo or something that people can use on their cat if they are allergic to hlep with their symptoms. I worked with a woman once who was allergic to the saliva, not the dander. So, she gave her cat a bath and it really helped her.

Smiley, FYI, if you have cat allergys, you are also allergic to rabbits, their fur is almost identical in make-up...

I've raised rabbits and never had a problem although they were meat rabbits and not indoors for me to really compare. That is interesting though
