Thank you Karrieann, for the lessons. It really is pretty easy. It's just all the ripping and putting together that will be the most time consuming. But after that it will go quikly. I had so much fun with ya'll. I will have my rug made in no time.

Oh Kris.. I was so glad to be of a help.. and I am even more thrilled to have met you and had fun too!!!!!
My mom and I have been using old sheets, odds n ends of fabric and men's shirts from the thrift stores. The last one I made looked like a sunflower browns in the middle gradually going to yellows and oranges. We tear the strips approx 1 or less in width; and knot them together;by cutting a hole in each of the strip and running it through another strip until it knots. I wish I could show you.

My DIL makes them like you do, Lila...I save her long scraps from my projects. Have a wonderful week..Smiles, Beth
Lila, that's how Karrieann showed me. So nifty! I love this. I am having fun with it. And the sunflower rug sounds beautiful. Do you have a picture of it?
