Hey yall Well, it is sorta hard to believe that it has been one year ago today that we moved into our new farm house we built on our small farm in the country. Many things has happened some good ; some not so good. Still haven't sold our old house in the city Would appreciate prayers and good thoughts We have until This coming Feb. I am not sure as what the bank will do if we don't get the house sold by then I love being back in the country where I belong. Never have much extra money as it takes all of one pay check to pay the house payment and hubby is the only one working. But, I thank God every day that I am lucky enough to stay home and that we have a new home I feel that God really wanted us to build and move at this time in our lives. Just wish He would get the old house sold. lol it is hard paying taxes and the heating bill in the winter. We leave the gas on the lowest possible so the pipes there don't freeze. But, it is so expensive still. the other night we were sitting at the dinning room window and we saw a huge gathering of wild geese flying over the fields. They were in V form. they were flying two by two. We have 3 new calves I think, so far this past summer. 2 are bull calves they will have to be sold as the other male calves ; As the brothers do not want to many bull calves down here. and they usually get a new bull every year for the cows any ways. the other week we saw at lest 30 turkey's in the field some huge ones and some baby ones so cute walking and running across the field and quite a number of deer. BIL and his little grand son saw a red fox the other morning. and we have cayotoes again this summer ; those we have to shoot and kill and the fox too if we can as they will kill our live stock. I am so glad it is getting cooler. Last weekend was a per view of fall. it was so cool and comfortable We have had a hot humid sticky summer here in my part of Va. Well, farm girls; that is what this farm girl has been up to down here on the farm. hugs sheila

Sheila, My name is Sheila too! Your new home and farm sound wonderful. I could just picture everything in my mind from your description. You are so blessed to be where you are. I am sure your old house will sell before you know it. God is so good and I don't know how, but He always works things out. You take care and I hope you have a great weekend with some cooler weather! Blessings!

Hi Sheila! So glad to see you again. You haven't been here in awhile. I missed you. It sounds like you have been busy. I hope your house sells too. I have seen lots of deer and wild turkey here. And a few times have seen the geese flying. We have leaves all over and I have already raked some. The mountain has splashes of color already too. I'm so glad you are back and enjoying your new home.
Hugs, Kris
