| Hi farmgirls! I am from the east TX pineywoods, and I am so excited to join this site. I just ordered the book bundle of 3 and joined in as a farmgirl. I have been reading many of your posts the last couple of days. I would love to do so many of the things that you do, but I realize I won't be raising goats, horses, or cows because DH says no. I am planning on getting my chicken coop back in order after being closed down for many years. I am also loving the challenge of earning farmgirl merit badges. I hope I can do it!! So thrilled to find this site, and looking forward to getting to know you all!! |

You have found the right place. I am excited that you have found so many things you would like to do and you never know when our husbands can be persuaded to change their minds and you can find yourself the mama to lots of goats or maybe a horse. A farmgirl can dream!!

Hello Dee, I would love to have goats, cows and other animals, but all I have right now are chickens. I too am new here and am loving it. Lufkin isn't far from Newton.

I love your part of our great state....beautiful.
Hang in there with DH about the animals.....you just never know. My DH wasn't all the way on board, either. But, through the years, lots of batting eyelashes and of course, hard work....I have my own special farm.
