Hello Everyone! I'm new to this forum and I love it! I've just started reading some of your posts and feel so comfy and at home with all your kindness and generosity. I've been subscribing to MJF for a couple years now and although I don't live on a farm, I've always considered myself a "farmgirl at heart". I live in the Central Sierra's in a little town called Cedar Ridge...it's Cabin Country surrounded by some of the oldest and tallest Cedar tree's (which can make it very challenging to garden)! I've raised 2 beautiful children and have 4 lovely grandchildren. I love to garden even with all it's challenges (deer & very tall trees), cook (sometimes on my wood cook stove) can, stitch and craft and collect antiques! It can get pretty lonely around here especially during the winter months and I am so happy I found all you lovely like minded women. I can't always get internet connection and we loose power a lot but thought I would still give it a try! I look forward to chatting with you all! A Great Big Smile...Teree

Welcome Teree....I like how you spell your name. I too use to get lonely during the winter, but since I found MJFarm I've made some great friends and learned so much. It's a warm & wonderful place to spend a cold winter day! Enjoy!

Thanks Everyone for your warm welcome...I'm so happy I took this leap of faith, as I'm usually too shy to say a word. Your all so very nice, which makes me feel very comfortable...this is my first online chatting experience and I love it!

Hi Teree, I'm new here also but everyone has made me welcome. I live in the high desert on the east side of the Sierra's and I can sit on my front porch and almost touch the mountains they're that close. It's such a lovely view along hwy 395. Hope to chat again, Betty

Welcome Teree,

I'm in NorthEastern Nevada, the Great Basin High Desert. Gardening can be a challenge here too, but not because of trees! You'll love the ladies around here. Lots of great tips, fun barters and swaps and general good FarmGirl conversations. :)
