Hello, I got the Mary Janes Farm magazine as a surprise in the mail this month. The subscription came from my mom :) I absolutely loved it. So here I am joining the forum. I live on a 250 acre old dairy farm, We have about 50 head of cattle mainly black angus and herefords (all expecting calves). I have a hobby of collecting Jersey steer calves from the local dairy farms, and raising them. I have 12 chickens, 26 horses (6 expecting mothers), 3 dogs and a pig. And I think that is it. I Garden, can supplies, make jams, sew, crochet, and make my own bread. I'm originally from North Georgia, and moved to this ranch in July of last year. I'm happy to have found this forum and this magazine and I hope to learn a lot from y'all and to make some new friends..
