Thank you so much, Catherine Love, for the April mail art! I love the little birdie stamps- so cute. And the colors were sweet and pink- my favorite! I can't upload a picture because my mom's camera just broke, but I would have loved to.

PLANNING FOR THE SUMMER:
- we will be taking a one month "vacation" break from Mail Art for the month of AUGUST 2011. NO MAIL ART swaps for AUGUST!!
- will resume for SEPTEMBER and Name/Address Info emails will be sent to you the end of August.
- we will carry on for May
- we WILL have Mail Art swaps for JUNE and JULY

I did get your mail art although I didn't know I had to post on here until my sister pointed that out to me yesterday! Oops! Thank you very much! I have already used my gloves while gardening and helping my daddy build a barn. Did you receive my mail art?

I REALLY hope that everyone has received their mail art for April by now. Or, at least, heard from the person sending to them that it is late.
IF there is still APRIL mail art received, plesae be sure to post here that you received . . and a pic if possible.
Please remember that there is a BRAND NEW monthly thread for MAY . . . "Merry Month of May". That is where everything for MAY needs to be posted.

Received the coolest handmade card in a decorated envelope from Kristen Meyers. Sorry, no photo...but the card had a handmade flower with handcut petals. Lots of recipe cards and a newsy note. Thankyou Kristen!

Hello All,
I don't normally complain. I just go with the flow. But I have emailed my April swap partner twice(it could be in her spam) but I have also tried to contact her here. All I want is a yes or no whether she received her mail art. If she didn't receieve it I will be happy to make another. If she hated it so be it but I think we have all grown up with the same manners instilled in all of us that you at least say thank you or acknowledge you received something. I am just asking for some common courtesy. Nothing more.

Nettie...I am in total agreement with you girl. There are just common courtisies...that should not be ignored in one's life.

I agree... I can not stand the uncertainty of not knowing, that my swap was received. I have never received anything I did not like & if that happened I would still post I received it. April must be a bad month for swaps, I am still waiting for a few swaps I never received. :(

No, I am your Angel for the April Mailart.....I send my May Mailart to Pennie Still and she has already received it. We don't do a partnered swap, we each send to different people. Hope that makes sense.

Actually, you are both right. Maddie is sending to you, Kim for regular MAY MAIL ART.
And, Kim is sending "angel" Mail art for APRIL to you, Maddie. And, Kim, you do send your regular MAY Mail art to Pennie.
So, it's all good!! How fun! Keeps us all on our toes! And, YOU Mail artist farmgirls just hope that I can keep it straight, huh?!?!?
