He started his radiation Tuesday. He will be going at 8:30 AM Monday through Friday for about 2 months. They are really more worried about his weight than the cancer right now. He has got to lose weight. He is trying. He got a weight bench and one of those low bikes where his legs are out in front of him. So they work out in the garage. He seems to be doing ok so far but it's only the 3rd day.

Kris, Praying for your step Dad in all areas - it's getting to be good fruit and veggie season which is helpful! We have been eatting lots of roasted veggies - Dave is trying to loose his tummy :)!

Hi Ruth, I wish he could lose mine too. Those roasted veggies sound good.

Gary is doing great so far. This was his 6th treatment today. I saw him yesterday and he was mowing the yard. He tries to keep busy and normal. He will see the doctor every Monday too.
Kathy is not doing well. She finally got another appointment with another specialist for today. She can hardly walk. Has to use a wheelchair. her legs are huge. Her clothes don't fit. She's really frustrated right now. I hope she gets some good news. They will probably want her to retake all the tests she's already had done twice. I will call her this afternoon and see what happened. Thanks for asking.

Kris, Thanks for the update and good news on your Step-dad - praying he will continue to do good!
Then poor Kathy, oh my goodness, she has to be so frustrated,plus who knows what is going on in her body during all this "wait or whatever time" you call it. I will be praying extra hard that she gets some answers and results soon.
