Inquiring minds want to know. That plastic stuff is called glossy accents. It is made by a company called Ranger.I use it as glue, for accents, everything. It seems steep for a bottle of glue, but mine has lasted over six months, and I'm trying to use it up on purpose. It's the same stuff crafters add to fill bottle cap pendants.
There is also this new thing I am going to try called Ice Resin. It has the same effect, but is more solid, and sets as a dome. It's what they use to make the altered scrabble tiles. It's very expensive, if I find an alternative from Home Depot, I will post about it.

I wanted to let Carole Morris know I got her spoon today... and .... I LOVE IT!!! it's bEaUtIfUl!! ( I would post a picture, but for some reason it's not letting me post it!!) But it IS VERY pretty!!

Beth,
Just wondering if you had any ideas on other spoon swaps for the future. I really enjoyed making the spoon, and LOVED the spoon I received. I am a nut for vintage Santas!
I'm rambling, I do have a point. I was just wondering all of this to see if I should start to look again for plated spoons :) Also, knock on wood, because I would angel, but it would be oneida. lol
PS you are an excellent swap hostess.

Received my spoon. WoW!!!!! It is gorgeous, and I love it!
I wish I had a camera to take a picture so I could post it
for all the farmsisters to see. I already have it hanging up
with my other spoon from a previous swap. I love the pink
roses as my home is decorated in a French Country Shabby Chic,
probably more shabby than anything. LOL!

Buzzn Bee would like for him to bring her a camera. LOL! So many
farmsisters send me beautiful treasures that I wish I could share

Hi Sherry,
I just collected the mail and your package was there! The spoon that you altered is delightful and it is officially the first Christmas decoration to go up in my house this year! Thank you for the spoon and for the other goodies...you are so thoughtful. Meanwhile, the spoon I am making for you is sitting on my craft table, with the glue drying. I should have it in the mail by the end of the week.

Hi CJ! My package is ready and waiting for when I return home to enjoy and display :) It looks amazing and I'm sure even better in person than by webcam!
