| I have several pounds of seaglass - I have recently moved back to Washington state and only 1/2 block from a lovely beach - I collect seaglass every day - even bits of old pottery dishes! You can make some really cool jewelry - drilled or wire wrapped - or just put in a canning jar or dish for display! If you don't live near the beach - it will make you feel like you do! Really beautiful - would be open to barter for almost anything! Becky |

Hi Becky -
If Emilee doesn't want all of the glass, I would be interested in some. I'll e-mail you.

Still got seaglass? I'd love some. I have some that my girlfriend sent me from the Bering Sea in Alaska and I love it. Please let me know if you have any left. Thanks, Joey

I love sea glass too! I have an idea for you ladies. Find a clear glass hurricane type candle holder. Glue the sea glass to it like tile with a little space between each one. Be sure to use a glue that dries clear. When all the pieces have dried on well grout it. Hobby lobby sells small containers of grout pre mixed and powder that you mix yourself. Follow the directions and clean throughly. I seal mine with a satin poly spray. Wait for it to get dark and light a candle! I have collected tons in the Virgin Islands. My best find is a Crystal decanter stopper. It is perfectly worn all the way around and has been worn down to a shape that is recognizable but probably 1/2 what it was originally. It rolled up between my feet while standing on the beach talking to my nephew. I have found two others as well. One on another beach on a different trip and one in the driveway of my sweeties great uncles home while they were cleaning out the house after his death. I guess it fell out of something they were moving. Funny how it was left where someone like me who would know what it was and value it as he probably did would find it. Three sea glass stoppers
The first and most simple sea glass candle holder I made. I put it where the sun would shine through so you could get the idea how pretty they are in the dark! Connie

How Beautiful that is Connie! We don't find sea-glass around our beaches but I guess up in the Pudget Sound they find a lot i.
I am hoping that I will get in on this Sea-glass Swap...but don't know yet.
Thanks for sharing your wonderful idea!!! I bet it is breath-taking in the dark with the glow of the candle.
blessings, Peggy
