A young woman was shot to death in my little town, I am so very sad to hear of this terrible thing and send my thoughts and sympathy to her family and friends. 22 is too young to die 
I just want to gather all of my friends and family up in a big hug. Life is so fragile and precious.
UPDATE: I have just learned that the young woman was named Katy Benoit. So thoughts, sympathy and prayers to the Benoit family for their terrible loss

So sad, Annika. It's ever present in this world we live in. So sorry for your little town--I hope that the sun comes up tomorrow and hearts and minds can heal. Sorry for the girl and her family...

Gosh, Annika, sure sounds like something very strange going on there. I hope they police can find some answers, though it won't bring her back. Nor him.

They said on the noon news that it was a murder followed by the suicide of the shooter. The shooter had been an assistant in the Psychology dept. at the university who had resigned on friday. Yesterday was the first day of classes on campus. That was all the info - no motive released so far. I am so sad for her family and friends. Everything is so strange....so many odd occurances lately.
