Everyone is sending such great packages! I love looking at the pictures and/or hearing what was received. I wish I could do it again! I have more ideas now! I would love to have a 'summer tea party' also! Anyone else up for that? A nice glass of mint iced tea? Or a lovely cup of warm mint tea? We have a few months to think up ideas - say sometime in late June, early July, say a 4th of July party? Just a thought!! Keep all those great pictures coming. I mailed out Karla's package today!!! So much fun, just loved doing this swap!!!
Next, up is Amy my sweetie 2nd partner!!! I am still collecting things for your sweet package. Be on the lookout for an email from me next week.
And, I get to have my in home tea party this month on the 29th with my dear friends and family. I am so excited we pulled it all together finally. We are doing a tea cup exchange and lots of food!!! Wahoo!!!

I have to say that Karla made me feel like a Queen! I have my own mini tea party kit to use at my next tea party. She thought of everything!

She sent me a variety of teas, scone mix, biscotti, a beautiful purple tea cup and plate set (I love purple) How she knew I love butterflies I don't know, but she included a gorgeous round butterfly table center piece with different color butterflies around the edges, tea honey (yum) a pretty white napkin, candle in a silver holder and a darling little book: "Returning Home" by Tracy Porter

OMG! That is one sweet package you received Marjean! Can I have Karla as my partner next time? ;o) Well, I just want to pop in and say that I am a tad late in sending my package out. I will send it on Monday. It's been a busy week at the Shoppe and with my receiving the snail mail info late from my partner .... it will go out on Monday. I have not received my package yet so I'm guessing that Ronee must also be running late. Keep well everyone an warm if you are in the Northeast!

I feel like a Princess! Emily and Melanie thank you so much for all the lovely gifts you sent me. You are such special farm girls!
I will put the stationary and tablet to good use. Mom and I will use the teas and jam at our next tea party!
I have a few more things to add and then it will go in the mail this week. We are hunting up one more thing for Melanie's little gift. Mom is such a good hider of special things it takes us a while to track down where she put them! lol

Do not feel like a bad partner. I too felt like I mis-understood the gist of the swap when I started viewing the pictures of the Really Generous Tea Kits. Then I came to my senses. I gave from my heart. I spent time thinking about what I was giving and who I was giving it to. I know I was not trying to out do anyone. This was not a contest. It was a swap. Hopefully each person has learned something new about the person they swapped with and a new friendship has begun. That is the purpose of an old-fashion swap. To form connections. Don't try and make it up next time. Be your self--give from your heart. That way your partner gets to know YOU. Who knows-- maybe we will partners next time.
