HI! I was complaining I had no one to talk shop with (ya know, canning, cooking, gardening, farm building), so my girlfriend directed me here.
I am married with three kids, and about to finally move out of an apt into a townhome. The yard is little, but I am packing as much garden space as I can in there. Its a temporary stop for a year or four till we buy our house in small town Nebraska, where we are going to be raising hens, hogs, and honey!
I am glad I found you guys, and I can't wait to jump in!

Hi Ursula and welcome to MJF from the Pacific Northwest. You've come to the right place for talking shop...you will make lots of great friends here. Enjoy!
Cheers! ~ Marilyn

Hello Ursula! I'm originally from Nebraska. Go Big Red! Still have much family back there. I'm off-grid in the mountains of Oregon. It took many years to get here so you hang in there, it'll happen. Hens, hogs and honey sounds perfect! I garden, sew, can, hike, ride, and willow weave. Welcome to your new adventure! Susan
