thanks so much for the welcome. i have really missed being here, but with the breast cancer, and treatment, i really lost touch with my old life. this past year my dh and i had grandchildren living with us for 10 months out of the last 12 months. it was a wonderful/different experience, one that i will never forget. hve just started crafting again and looking to the future. thanks so much for your warm welcome.

Hi, Frannie! Welcome home! It's great to have you back. I've been gone a lot, too. Went to Knob Lick last Saturday to visit Wilma and Sterl. We still want you to come here and visit all us KY gals. :)

so wonderful to BE back and to be welcomed in such a wonderful way. my intentions initially were to stay connected and not get lost in the maze of the breast cancer journey. but boy did i have some lessons to learn. at any rate, the journey does let us see what we value, and i can say that you farmgirls were so missed. i tried to keep up with the site, and i even tried to rejoin prematurely and then i quickly realized not just yet! alee and marcy, i will try to catch up with you gals on your blogs,i cant wait to see how nora is doing, and thanks so much for your sweet welcomes. janice, i have had fantasys about coming to kentucky and hugging all of yalls necks, miss wilma, and sweet jonni and little violiet, she is such a beauty. please send my love to miss wilma, i have totally lost touch with her, and miss her so much. anyway, thank you for starting my day off with such a sweet dose of farmgirl wishes.

thanks for the welcome, heidi, and welcome to the site as well, i know you will love it here. thanks also, caron for the texas welcome. i grew up close to orange and my dh and i have really toyed with the idea of moving back to the gulf coast. we are looking at galveston, but we arent sure. country, my dh, has to decide about retirement first! i love your quote about the apron, i dont know about the above rubies magazine.

there are so many new farmgirls to meet here, it does seem like the site is busier than ever. i feel like every day i am feeling more and more like myself and it is so amazing. last year i had a lung cancer scare, but after 6 months of testing they decided it was just a scar on my lung from radiation. then country and i had our grandchildren here for about 10 months. i am ready to start looking forward and i hope that my doctors will cooperate with me and start looking ahead. i have started crafting again and working on some major farm projects so i hope i can look to you farmgirls for some good advice.
