Okay so I have this idea in my mind of a piece of jewelry I want to make but I have no idea where to start... I want a tree of life necklace with my husbands and mine birthstones at the bottom of the trunk and our kids birth stones in the top tree part... I have no experience with jewelry making of this kind, any tips on how I can learn so I can have the necklace of my dreams? Thanks in advance!

I finally figured out what I'm going to do. I'm going to find a tree of life pendant and use some jewelry glue to glue on some birthstones where I want them on the pendant! I'm guessing that with all the materials it shouldn't cost me more than $20!

Krystle, If your not in any hurry for this, I maybe able to make you one in a couple of months. I am way too busy at work now but will be semi retired soon and have time to do things I WANT to do and wire jewelry is one of those things. Could try one out with beads and wire I have on hand and if you like it you could buy real birthstones and silver wire. Send me an email if your interested with the color of each birthstone and I'll see what I have.
