Anyone recall when using bandanas to make skirts and accessories were all the rage? I recently found an old pattern I had gotten for a wrap around skirt, and have recently picked up project pamphlets using bandanas to accessorize. Interestingly enough, bandanas made now aren't the same size as they were when these patterns were printed. Luckily I have one or two of the old sized ones I can make a template from & use bandana print fabric to do the projects.

Sherrie I love bandanas. But I cannot seem to keep one around long that my DH or son does not snatch up to use as sweat rags when they are working. They keep one in their back pocket to use. Or they will wrap one around their head in the hot summer months under their hats to catch the sweat. I was just thinking last week that I needed to pick up some new bandanas to wear while I work in my garden to hold my hair back out of my face. Have you ever seen a bandana quilt? My grandmother made one when I was a young girl.
