I am making lots of purses for an upcoming craft show. I have fabric galore but need some lovely trims to adorn the purses.

Lace, ric-rac, beading...any jingle-jangle-bobble will do.

I have many little handmade items to barter including the dish soap aprons (more colors available) listed on my Etsy site: http://www.etsy.com/shop/reereebee

I also have lots and lots of bronze colored drawer pulls, dish towels for various holidays, pecans (in the shell). The possibilities are endless...just ask...I may just have it

I'm looking forward to your responses, ladies. My craft show is on 4/14 so time is tickin' for me to get these done. Thanks, in advance, for your farmgirl support.

I might have some things around here. I really like your little dishsoap aprons. I used to have one years ago and it was so cute. I will let you know what I have around here. Would you be able to use feathers, antler or bone beads or rock or rustic type stuff like saddle conchos and such? I am sure I have other little stuff if you can't use this kind of stuff. Thanks :)

Conchos might be fun! Antler/bone beads could work, too.
Please let me know what color(s) you'd like and I'll see what dishsoap aprons I have for you.
Thanks!

Hi Marie, are any of these trims things you could use?

SheilaC - Oh Yes! They all look divine
I especially like the tassel-y ones and the pink fuzzy trim.

Each purse uses about 28 inches of trim/lace. If i don't use trim, then I center an accent piece over the magnetic snap closure such as a large button or possibly one of the conchos mentioned by crittergranny.

I also make purses so I actually have a good bit of stuff.
I gotta run out & get 2 plants for my son's science project, but just let me know what want the most (Beads, lace, ribbons, buttons, ect) and how much of them for a red dish bottle apron and I'll root around in my stuff to see what I have. :)

OH! I actually have a few packs of small rick rack in different colors that I probably won't be using if you want it.

Wauka Mountain Mama - Rick Rack sounds great! Beads would be great, too.
I can definitely do a red dish soap apron. I have some that are red background with a big white leaf/floral on them. I also have red and white ticking or red & white check (like a picnic blanket).
Just message me with your address and I'll get it out ASAP.
Thanks

Oh, I love Red & White check! Iam waiting on the DH to finish his morning chores so we can leave out, but I did find the rick rack, its labled as "baby" which to say its real small. I have 4pks 1 yard each of Pink, White, Metallic gold and green. I can look around in my beads. I have a bucket of mismatched beads that would make good toggles for zippers or just little bits of bling I can toss in a handfull or so.

Here are some more dishsoap aprons not currently on my Etsy site. I have many, many more colors/patterns. I'll try to post another picture with more options.

Would you consider these items? The top one is only 12", I am not sure if the pearls on the satin pleats show up in the photo, but is is really nice. The rest are at least 29" long. The bottom one is fringe, the black string is to be removed after sewing.

I would love to have a soap apron, how cute they are, never seen them before. Do you have any more in red/white or yellows?

Joan - All of the trims that are 29" would work perfectly. They are beautiful.
The three aprons I currently have in red & white are the 2 shown in the photo (red/white floral, red/white ticking) and I have a red & white check (like a picnic blanket) not shown above. I have lots of fabric, so if you'd prefer something else, I'd be happy to whip one up
I'll send you an email so we can exchange addresses.
Thanks so much!

Marie, Your trim was mailed yesterday (Tuesday) so you should be getting it soon. I was able to find a few more pieces and hope they suit your project. Sounds like you will be VERY busy playing with you purses. Here's wishing that the show does well by you.

Fran - The rick rack and beads arrived today. Thank you so much! I love the card, too.

Sheila - The box of trims you sent arrived today, as well. They're fantastic I will have a box out to you, soon. I promise! I am preparing for my largest special event of the year at work. Our Annual Kids' Fishing Clinic draws nearly 400 children every year. It is this Saturday, so things should calm down in a couple days. Sorry for the delay in getting your package out.
