That has to go to the top of the weird news list. It is awfully tragic.

Oh how sad and tragic. So bizarre with the details of how some of the chickens were found.

OMG! That is so sad! But very believable for me. My Hobbs and I were outside many years ago when a balloon came over the house (a one story ranch) darn near scraping the roof (they were trying to make an emergency landing in a park 3 blocks away). He was literally scared xxxxless! Pooped right on the patio and didn't even realize it! That scarred him for life, he always looked to the sky to see what menace was lurking there!

Well I guess it's possible but with Albuquerque being my nearest city with the balloon festival every year I have seen a lot of low flying hot air balloons and as far as I know there aren't any scared to death chickens over it. I think probably the chickens died from something else. Balloons pass over quicker than that anyway. Sometimes they land in parks and different places and make a huffing sound but still.

I lost a duck once to an oppossum in the cage. The beast killed one duck and the other ducks trompled one of them to death. I was shocked that it could happen, but there was absolutely no teeth marks on the trompled one. I could see animals panickin over something they had never seen before.

That is definitely on the top of the weird news list. So sad for those chickens.

Very sad for the chickens.
