OK,today I am crying. I HATE not knowing what happens next and there are many choices. I still believe that GOD will decide, and I have prayed and cried and prayed again (and again.)I will work on my California license over the weekend just in case. I told my recruiter that it is summer and I will go anywhere we haven't been before. Getting a license to that state will be an issue which is why I am at least doing California now. California is a big state and needs nurses alot. I really don't want to go back east at this point but I have an aunt in PA who is dying so maybe that's where I am supposed to be. For now I am just going to sit tight, play with Rod and Diane, pray and see what happens Monday. I can't tell you how much all of your comments and kindness and interest in our joourney has meant to me. You, my farmgirl sisters sustain me. Thank you. I'll keep ya posted. Joey

Awwhh Joey. Tears are to be expected. I am sure you will go through many emotions over this situation, but I know that you have the right attitude and will make the situation work for you- whatever that may be. I (along with all of your farmgirl sisters) am praying for you. I hope you know the gift you have given to us, though your "journaling' of your adventures on the road. I am sure God will send that gift back to you in the form of a great job out west. We are here for you if you need us. Hugs,

Oh Joey! I just got caught up! I am so so so sorry that your job washed out- what a disappointment! You are such a strong individual and I am sure that something will come up soon! Maybe you will find yourself in a place you never knew you wanted to live but it will be just perfect for you. *hugs*

Do you have to decide what you want to do right away? My goodness Joey...will you have to drive all the way back east?
I know how exhausting long trips are and I think you just need to sleep, and eat, and, sleep and eat some more for a few days just to catch up!
What is Rod saying to do?
I feel for you....Just breathe Joey and the answers will come.

Uncertainty is very scary. I hope your news come soon and that it is good. I know you are determined to do what you must do, so of course, this will all turn out fine.
Best wishes, good thoughts and hugs Marianne |

We are so blessed. Right now we are staying in a wonderful house with a dear old friend. I am resting and crying and praying and eating healthy. I still have no idea what comes next, but continue to await Gods direction. Yesterday I went to get my fingersprints done for the state of CA. and 4 of my fingers show no prints. I don't even know how that is possible but I have heard from several people that it is very common with nurses because we was our hands so much and eventually "wash off" our prints. Probably, CA will refuse to accept my prints and I will do them again to have them rejected again and on the 3rd time they will look up my life "manually" and accept me. That will take a few weeks, though. Although I can stay with this friend forever, I don't want to. I may be responsible for the cost of the apartment the company rented for me and if so, Rod and I will go to Oregon as soon as we know that-to get my Orogan fingerprints done twice and to sightsee which is why we came out here in the first place. This has never happened to my company before, so they don't have solid answers yet. Melody, Rod hugged me and said "It will work out, it always does." He is a strong comfort to me but also very concerned about me due to Dads recent death and now this. I am so blessed. I'll keep you posted. Joey

Keeping you in prayers daily Joey. And yes, Rod is right- it will work out- it always does. SOmetimes its hard to believe or understand that when you are "in the thick of it" though. Hugs,
