Have any of your farmgirls had the pleasure of catching this two part documentary on any of your PBS channels? I watch it whenever it's on, even though I've seen it now, at least 4 times. I even made my husband sit down and watch it (he too fell in love!). You may know Martin (of Doc Martin fame) from British tv series--he and his wife produced this program and he travels all across the globe to meet horsemen and women of different design to discover why we so need horses in this mechanized age. Highly recommend it!

There are only 2, but apparently he's also done one on dogs that I'd also love to see. He's so genuinely fascinated by these animals, and it's lovely to see.

| It felt as though I caught parts of it all 4 times it aired here, but never the whole thing. I seem to remember a scene where he's riding a tiny little pony with a desert tribe. So strange to see him being friendly and enthusiastic on camera (in other words, not playing Doc Martin). |

I saw most of part one last week. My husband watched it with me and we both really liked it. Martin Clune is quite an actor, he's very likeable and different than his character on Doc Martin! I think that would be a wonderful job, travel the world and discover and learn about the different horses and horse people. |

Amie, my favorite part were the horses on the beach with the man in France. It was like something I've dreamed about while fast asleep. It was truly amazing!
Yes, Martin Clunes is SO enjoyable--I've always loved him and he's certainly different from his Doc Martin character. Hilarious, self deprecating, the dry "Brit Wit" but still a very sensitive person on the whole.
