I'm trying to raise some funds for the homestead, so I've dragged out some of my vintage stash to sell (or barter, if you've got soap making supplies, beeswax, essential oils, homesteading books, etc.). I'm terrible at picking prices, so just make me an offer. :)

I love this thermos! All I can find about it is that it's probably 1950's, the maker is Ching Kiang, and I saw a few ranging from $10-$40. There is a small dent in the lid, and some age-related wear, but it would be such a cool glamping accessory!

I really like this. Was there any one homesteading book you where looking for? I have a few I'd probably part with but it may be cheaper just to send you money then ship the one book I know I want to get rid of because its hard back & heavy...

Ack, I'm so sorry about the delay in answering you! Long holiday weekend with no internet at home, then lots of catch up to do back here at work. :)
If you're still interested, I talked to my husband and he said I'd probably be better off selling than bartering, because he says I have a ton of stuff as it is. lol CJ is also interested, too, if you'd rather not buy it, so don't feel bad telling me no. Thanks for responding and again, I'm so sorry it took so long to get back to you!

I saw CJ's post about combined shipping on the other thread before I posted this, I just didn't know this was what she was wanting. So, honestly she came first.
Also, Iam saving up for a boat...but if she changes her mind let me know. Its a really charming thermos. :)

Fran,
It wasn't me posting on another thread about combined shipping and I'm not sure which thread or who it was. So, I'm not actually "first" on this one. I had just emailed Kristen directly.
Sooooooo . . . you were first in line.

Ah! I guess I should of actually went back & checked who it was first. :)

You can get it though CeeJay, I've found a boat at a shockingly low price so I need to save up $1,200 before someone else beats me to it.

Good luck getting that boat, Fran! It's a good time of year to have one. :)
