Well-l-l . . there will be a slight delay to me posting any more pics because ALL the pics on my camera card got erased. We were hanging out with some farmgirls, taking pics and sharing them . . . mine were imported into another farmgirl's computer. She didn't think about it being set on "auto delete" for all the pics on the card . . . BUT she has all of them in a file.
She is going to copy them onto another card and mail it to me . . so all is not lost.
It will just be later in the week before I can post any more that were on my card.
Robin and I are headed out on a glamping trip tomorrow and THOSE pics will be on my card . . so you can check those out. Probably post them in OUTPOST.

We're back! And I got my thumb drive with my rescued pics from my farmgirl friend . . . YAY!!!
On Tuesday, June 26th Robin and I met up Kathy Lorentz . . aka "KathleenL" for lunch at a Mimi's cafe in Lakewood, CO (suburb of Denver)
We had a really nice time visiting (we had met her a year ago on our trip to Denver), enjoyed a wonderful lunch, time to relax, chat and laugh. Kathy is a true sweetheart and I'm glad we were able to see her again.

On Weds., June 27 we left the crazy hustle and bustle of a huge metropolis . . DENVER! (and all "burbs") and headed back to the Western Slope to the farming communities of Paonia and Hotchkiss.
We stopped at a couple of wineries and a couple of garden/orchard markets.
At Black Bridge Winery and Garden Market we were able to take a peek at and sit on the old Graham farm truck . . don't remember the year but pre-1940.
Rob, the "head guy" at Black Bridge . . very helpful, very fun and friendly.
At Delicious Orchards near Hotchkiss we tasted the best local cherries and cherry juice . . . made some purchases of fun cards and such. They also sell all kinds of produce and other items from local growers, etc. We also enjoyed the old pickup truck in the parking lot
Come back to meet farmgirls we met in this area.

We met farmgirls Rain ("Rain K") and Laurie ("Montrose Girl") at the Flying Fork restaurant in Paonia for dinner on Weds. June 27th. Girls dinner out! We enjoyed the most fabulous dinner out in the patio garden of the restaurant with desserts and lots of conversation and laughter.
After dinner we made plans for the next day, Rain went back to her house outside of Paonia and we followed Laurie to their "Inn the Orchard" B&B where we stayed for 2 nights in the "Peach Room" with the breezes from the orchards coming in the windows, the quiet of the country, wonderful breakfasts with Ed, Laurie, baby Wyatt and Laurie's niece, Jewell.
You'll get to meet the rest of the family later!

Our evening at the Klepper home is about to draw to a close . . . and we will be headed back home the next day.
Jewel and Rain hard at it with something Rain was showing Jewel on her computer (Pooh-Bear belongs to Wyatt)
Rain's hubby, Gary, did the most wonderful meatloaf and zucchini on the grill and together the two of them made all of us the most fabulous, tasty dinner at their home.
