My husband and I moved 200 miles away from the rest of the family because of a career move. Our new house is about 1700 sq feet. It feels a little big most of the time, but when the grandkids (and their parents) come to visit, it is way too small. I've got my "fiber studio" equipment in the guest bedrooms, knitting machines and sewing machines, loom, fabric and yarn stash, etc. and it is a tight squeeze. I'd love to have a separate studio space, then the house could get much smaller. Hubby has a separate garage that is as big, maybe bigger, as the house, so he's got his "stuff" out there. That helps.

You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands - You shall be happy and it shall be well with you. -Psalm 128.2
