You know the one where the guy walks in his slippers and keeps repeating something like "got to make the donuts" to get himself up and to work?

I feel like that guy...only it's "got to get the garden bounty harvested" and "got to get the laundry on the line" ha ha ha!

Anyone else getting bone tired this season?

Yes I feel tired lately. I just bought my self some vitamin B 12 yesterday hope that helps. Fixing to start putting the fall garden in. If I can mustard up the strength. I am in the kitchen right now making my mom and sister a sweet potato pie, great northern beans, rice and pork chops. Then I have to cook for my family. Ho, Hum..........Wish I was that little old man still in my night gown and slippers. But in bed sleeping in..LOL

Naps, naps are a good thing! I'm a very early riser, can accomplish much in the a.m., but I crash around mid-afternoon. So, I just go with it. Put kids down for a nap, or at least establish a quiet time where they can read in bed, then give in to that lovely moment when a nap overcomes you. Just a half hour can set me up for the rest of the day and evening. Then, I go out and weed or pick for tomorrow's canning in the cool of the evening.
Gotta laugh, your reference to the old commercial just makes me crave donuts!

The morning breeze has secrets to tell you. Do not go back to sleep.

That is my motto - I have been on that track for so long that I wished I could stop. I am working on that big time....

When I got a break to make a sandwich, I thought of that mop commercial...."I'm going to drink this...on the porch"
Only "eat this on the porch" ha ha ha!

When I tried the b-12 it didn't really help my energy levels- but the B Complex vitamin sure does! Just a thought in case the b-12 doesn't work for you!
