Nah.....I do find stuff like that now and again, but not all in one lot nor for such a low price. I simply LOVE petticoats under my skirts in the Winter.

I love to wear petticoats too! Do you wear tights/stockings as well? I have just posted on Stitching Room to try and get some knitting patterns for long, long socks or tights. Best wishes, Jayne |

Tasha, tasha tasha, You could make all of those things with your talent, and probably better. They were all so cute, and I'am not much of a sewer but it all looked pretty basic, you should be able to whip those up in a few days, they will just be new instead of old. Then you could sell them. You advertise in your local paper that you make aprons, childrens smocks, and 1800's style skirts and petticoats. Well now that I have advised you how to live your life, we will move on to something else. Beautiful fall day here, looks like the best of the week, rain and chilly the rest of the upcoming five days, will be using the fireplace for sure. NANCY JO |

HA HA! NAncy Jo you crack me up....
I do make clothes for people on request and have made a bit of money doing it!
I love the old ones specifically because of the lives they have had. They were well used and well cared for so they would last longer on a make do budget, you know. People cared more for their things way back when because they didn't have much and couldn't come across more anytime soon, so it was vital that they maintain what they had to pristine condition despite daily use.
So yes, I can make them, and have, but there is something to the real, old thing, you know :D
