Hoping all the gals in the Louisiana area and beyond are taking good measures to be safe!
My heart goes out to you all...Thinking of you and sending prayers your way.
If there is anything this Farmgirl up in the Great North Woods can do, either in the form of care packages or anything you can think of please let me know! I would be more than happy-

Thank you Melody and Laurie. Your kindness is appreciated. We are fine. Southeast Louisiana did get the high water, so please keep them in your prayers. We were on the west side of the hurricane, the better side, just got high winds.

Thanks for emailing me, Marly, and keeping in touch during Issac. I am so glad everything and everyone is okay. My best friend, near Baton Rouge, is fine as well.

Marly so glad your back on. Is all well with you, hope so. We are fine here. WE just had some rain and a little wind. But thats all, but on the east side they need some prayers. It is just awful.
Hope our other sisters here in the state are fine. Having all in my thoughts and prayer.

Hi Marlee: All is fine with us. We got more than a little wind. Our cypress and oak trees were doing some twisting. AND- my outdoor cats were howling. They were all safe.
