Here are the partners for the Sept. Dotee Doll Swap:

1. Sign-ups start now and end Sept 10th.
2. You must email your partner and exchange names & addresses by September 14th. Mail out deadline is September 30.
3.Body of doll should be 3”-5” (not counting the loop on top of head or beads hanging below).
4. Doll can be made from, and decorated with, any materials. (fabric, felt, beads, etc)
5. If you need ideas, do a google images search or see tutorials on youtube.

HI MADELINE,
My dotee is still waiting to be born. I imagine she will be birthed sometime after the 15th of the month. I am making her after the heroine of a book I am currently reading. I hope that you like her.

So glad she flew in safe and sound!! I enjoyed making her!! When I taught, I always did a unit on apples this time of year...so it was fun to get to make Apple Betty for you!! Smiles

Oh Maddie.. I will be looking for Annie..
Unfortuneately, there was a miscalculation for the birthing date on your Dotee and she is just not here yet. But, there is hope. And She could, maybe be born on the quilt retreat I will be at from Sunday thru Thursday morn. I hear there will be 15 midwives available to help with the birthing, so she should turn out just fine.
She will be in her layette and on her way to you late next week. LOL.
Hope you will want to keep her and adopt her as your very own!

Nancy, I got your Dotee doll today! What a nice surprise! She is so precious with her polka-dot dress, auburn pigtails, and farmgirl apron and sunbonnet! Also I love the art on the calendar card. Beautiful!
