Okay, if you have been following some of my prayer requests, you know that hubby was not allowed to donate a kidney to his sister. However, we felt that they were just trying to come up with reasons to reject her transplant completely.

Just recently, there was an article in the news about the hospital that they were going to have the transplant done at. They are rejecting over 900 scheduled operations (I think that is what they said), due to two nurses putting a kidney with waste when it was to go into a recipient. They have halted all transplants.

Interesting to read about this now.

Hubby cannot donate until next spring, due to not having health insurance (if we do get it back next spring). Otherwise, she'll be looking for another family member to donate.

Anyway, I've wanted to update you all on that.

Wow Kristina-
I did see that on the news about the hospital! Amazing how you had that feeling and it turns out you are right. Yet another example to always go with your gut instincts!
I hope everything works out for your sister and law, and that you can get your health insurance back quickly!
Blessings,

~Laurie
