04/17/13: Looks like our plan is to wait until Mothers Day weekend to go to Tucson where we will have a family celebration gathering in honor of my MIL. It'll be at my brother-in-law's home where we can be together, relax, talk about her, share memories and enjoy our family together.
Since she is being cremated and there really is no rush, this gives the family time to plan, make travel arrangements and look forward to a blessed time together to remember Caroline!
Please continue your prayers for the family in all of this and for my hubby and his brother in the legal/financial matters that now need tended to.

i have goose bumps! i think that the plan in place is wonderful; gives everyone time to think and breathe and will mean so much more than a hurried "funeral".....

Oh CJ, I'm so sorry to hear it. My thoughts and sympathies to you and your family.
I know that it was a long slow journey to this point. The long slow good byes are the hardest and at the same time its so sudden when they pass. A family is a precious thing and losing a member is so very hard to come to terms with. Sending a prayer that you all find comfort and peace in your grief. Love each other and be there for each other.
