Pretty disgruntled this term regarding our Presidential choices, but nevertheless there are some very important issues to be determined that are on the ballot for our sweet state of Michigan. So, my family including my DD (first Presidential election for her!) will be going to the polls just like millions of other Americans tomorrow to cast our vote!

Are you planning to vote?

Have a very good TUESDAY tomorrow and remember your VOTE DOES COUNT!

I heard that Florida will have very long lines into polling booths-7 hours our more? Sheesh.....

Daughter and I will be going early in the morning here in our little town and then DH after work.

It never fails though, I always get this feeling in the pit of my stomach when I come in and show the election "ladies" my Voter ID-It's an awesome responsibility and it makes me very proud.

God Bless America....

I so agree,,,
you might not like the canidates or the inisitives... but as US Citizens it is our privledge and duty...
I truly believe in reading, studing and conversing...not argueing and do not fall victim to the one sided slander we see on TV... read the voter pamphlets... make an informed decision and vote.... your vote can make all the difference in the future of our country.

I was not born in the US, I was born in Germany, my mother brought me to the US when I was 3yr old,,, mother got her Citizen ship and I became a neutralized citizen... I am so proud to say I am a US citizen and I am honored to have the priveledge to vote.

I voted. I agree. Not much choice for president, but I have had my say, so I've done my duty.

I went out and voted after work. I voted for candidates from 3 different political parties, so I covered all the bases.

I love the voting stickers your poll gives out, Deborah! We get the same old, same old, but I wear it proudly :) I voted at 7 am (the first to use our electronic voting machine because all the elderly folks in my area are afraid of it, I think), my little one went with her Nana to vote at the senior citizens home that is their polling place, and my husband voted later in the afternoon. The only race I didn't vote on was our local county attorney and county clerk. They were uncontested and I don't care for either of them, working as closely as I do with them in the legal field.

Oh! Those ARE cute! We don't get stickers here... We get Halloween candy, cookies, coffee and tea. It's like we're really celebrating our right to vote - I love it! :)

DH and I stood out in the cold and waited our turn for late registration/voting in our county. 3.5 hours start-to-finish. Worth it! Our state propositions look mostly good :)
