Rats with Antlers.... we have them! and to be honest,,, we enjoy their visit....

W have a trouf with a combination of corn & hey that I put out for the deer,,,(very small amount of corn)... it is so fun to watch our 3 'regulars' every evening,,, they come across the field to our place, stop for a snack and then continue on to the other tree line.
I took this photo from my laundry room window...sorry about the poor quality....

Cute! We have a few Momma does and their babies. One had twins this year. They make a go for our round bales regularly, so we have to thwart them on that... otherwise, we don't mind them. DH calls them "Forest Goats" when they jump into the road in front of oncoming traffic. Our goats weren't very bright when we had them ;)

They are beautiful and we have LOTS of those in our yard, all over the place. They are going after the fruit on the ground now.
And we are in the middle of a variety of hunting seasons. Yes, my hubby is a hunter and I grew up in a hunting family. But, nope, none of them have been or are being hunted in our yard.

Isn't it funny how we draw the line? The ones on my property are pets. Those on public land are food ;) We do that, too!
