It has been awhile since I have been able to get on here, life is crazy, we have a new adventure everyday, strager than most! Oh well, it keeps me on my toes! I had to write and share. you all celebrated withme 6 months ago when my newwest farmgirl was born. Little Danielle is growing like a weed right now. It is amazing to see what happens in her behaviour over night. SHe has mastered up on all four crawling, and has gotten brave! I surround her with highly educational toys, butshe would rather crawl under the computer to chew on cords. It was convienient when I would put her on a blanket and step out of the room and she would be where I left her, now, I loose her. She likes to go exporing, like behind the recliner where who knows what dwells. She finds wonderful treasures. Her newest treasure to find, MY SHOES. She knows even at her low view point whose feet are across the room! She scurries across and pulls on my pant legs, she has been knownto chew if she doesnt get the smile she is looking for. She is baby 7 around here, and yet she has a language all her own that amazes me. She asks me to pick her up of course, but also "put me down" and "bedtime please". She at times just wants to hug. She is so little and yet hugs so tight, She will hug tight and then pull away to smother my face with kisses, then bury her face in my neck again. Her lovin' just makes me tingle all over! Yesterday, she wanted a book that fell off the matress that she plays on on the floor, but she remembered that crawling off the matress head first hurts her face! SO she backed away from the edge, turned around and went off feet first turned again and got that book. I was so proud of her, and the.....OH my a problem solver, now I have to really think to keep her out of trouble! The joys of babies really does out weigh the inconvenience of diapers and sleepless nights. I am just basking in the love growin over here. Now I am off to collect "tree seeds" for our science projects, Grapes for Jam, Children, supper, and Discovery toy orders, and maybe I will even get Daddy's pants patched, if I am lucky. I hope your day is as filled as mine is today! Rejoice in the fall! Tami

Babies are just the sweetest things, I am always so amazed at how they grow and change...they learn things so fast.
Frannie, you are so sweet to stay with your daughter for 3 whole weeks...I remember when I had Chloe..she will be 4 in January, and I was SO overwhelmed. She was born 5 weeks early and I just wasn't ready! It wasn't so much that I wasn't physically ready, with diapers and clothes and whatnot....my sister fixed that with a $200 trip to target! It was mostly that I wasn't emotionally ready...anyhow it was such a hard time, my grandpa died just two days before, infact I was so miserable during the viewing and funeral..I was in labor!
I needed my mom sooooo bad, but she was busy helping my grandma to settle the estate, make funeral decisions etc..and my mom was still working full-time. I called her crying so many times..I was so tired, my milk didn't come in good, so I was pumping every two hours, the baby had jaundice and had to be in one of those suitcase ultra-violet light things...I had a bad flare up with my rheumatoid arthritis, my joints were so swollen and painful...my bottom was so sore, I had torn up top and all down the backside...I just really *needed* my Mama! She just couldn't come!
Luckily, thank God above that my younger sister was still single..she called in sick to work for 2 whole weeks...every time she acted like she might be going home I would get big ole tears in my eyes! If I didn't cry, my older two daughers..then 8 and 6 did!
How lucky Wednesday is to have you for 3 whole weeks! And what a wonderful opportunity to bond with Lucas and baby Sofie!
You are a great Mama and Nana
Baby Danielle sounds alot like my Emme, the youngest in the family and too smart for her own good! I know that Emme will be my last baby..so I just keep holding and hugging her! I want her to stay a baby, but with all of her older sisters to follow around she is growing so fast.
I love to read about your families Thanks for sharing Kate
