Thought I would start to bring down some Christmas things. Hope to get the tree up this coming week. My oldest daughter has hers up. I do have my outside lights up, and the back and front door decorated.I don't get to carried away, just a few special things and the fire place mantel.
I made some Ham soup today, Richard has a bad cold, and you know when men don't feel good, you never give them a Bell.

Nancy,
Ham soup sounds delicious. YUMMY! Mind if I invite myself in for a bowl? LOL! It is freezing cold here. I just know your soup would warm these old bones up.

Friend, I know what you mean by never giving a sick man a bell. (That was hysterical) I have also found you never hold your stare very long while looking at them. Sure as you do, they will say " Boy! so and so sure would taste good, oh and while you are in the kitchen could you please bring me...and so the list grows." LOL!

But you know, we secretly would not have it any other way. Spoiled they are!

Excuse me Nancy, but would you mind while you are in the kitchen to bring me some hot chocolate? Oh, and could you put in 8 marshmallows, and how about some homemade chocolate chip cookies, Do you have any of those? They would sure make this nasty old cold better. Oh yeah,
could you bring me some cornbread to go with my soup? Don't forget the butter?

Teasing you a little. Im sure you could tell that my teasing comes from experience with my own DH. LOL!

Have a great weekend! Hope hubby feels better soon.

Blessings and Hugs!

Ding! Ding! Ding! Could you rub my feet, they hurt? (Love ya friend)
Ding! Ding! Ding! Nancy...better check the cookies. Smells like they might be burning a little bit. Oh honey, I know you just sat down but could you please bring me the newpaper? Do you know where the TV remote is? I must have dropped it.

Deb, nice to know that Richard can be defined as "normal" among the male gender. I was pretty sure I wasn't alone here. They are funny. Guess they never really grow up, but I wouldn't trade him in, he's a keeper. Just NO BELL.

Those candies would be very tempting to me, especially if they were hershey kisses. Or, brownies!
