My son is the coach for the Homer Nordic ski team. The team was practicing on a frozen lake yesterday and a 5.8 earthquake hit! Everyone is fine no damage reported.
I am so glad that your son and his team are all safe. What a scare that had to be. Glad no one was injured, or any damage done. Occasionaly we will have one here in Indiana that will shake the windows and rock things on the shelves. Not to mention what it does to your nerves. WHEW!
We are sitting on a major fault line.
Hopefully there will be no more. Trust God to take care of your Son and Alaska.
I will keep your Son and all of Alaska in my prayers.
Happy to hear your son and all are fine. Scary! Marly

JoAnn, That sounds like quite an exciting place to be during an earthquake! I never thought about that before, but my goodness that must be dangerous. So glad he's safe. Marianne
